Resonance Is Unfathomable!

Renowned singer Hemant Kumar had earned international acclaim owing to his fantabulous melodies, among which ‘Yeh Nayan Dare Dare’ for sure, has made a hefty contribution. There is this particular line in the Bengali version of the song, the literal English translation of the same would be something like this, “Oh dear! It’s only because you are there, and so I am, that I can feel your presence through some charismatic experiences that we both share on a full moon night…"

More of it says that the night belongs to melody, and is mine, as much as it's yours... "Also, my existence is for you…" Now, besides being romantic, full of life and captivating, these lines carry a mild touch of resonance between the two souls, who are far away from each other, yet are connected through the full moon night. Both the souls aren’t in close proximity to each other, yet the moon has bound them close…

How does resonance occur in real life but?

It occurs when one gets to distinguish between an ogle and a glance, or a gaze when it feels divine and not creepy. Resonance is personified when one loses count of time, when their eyes get locked with their counterpart; they come back to their senses, only when there is an external intervention like someone blocking the way, or beckoning. 

Those interventions are melancholic indeed. Yet, resonance is dominant and very much existential. Why on earth would the sea waves be so euphoric to see the moon then? And why would their oscillation amplify with each passing hour? Surely, the sea and the moon don’t really possess gadgets that help them communicate, but they have their ways…

Why is it that you find most of your deep-rooted convictions alter within a nanosecond, if your counterpart holds different views from you? Do you question, argue, or debate in the least? You don’t…

Because you have allowed yourself to be swayed into the ocean of connection. You don’t seek logic anymore, you just seem to hang in there, probably till eternity. You slowly start to see your logical bones take a backseat, and you are in full swing to embrace this ‘resonante’ phase of yours. How would you go about it but?

Oh! How could you? You don’t want to encounter the logical part of you anymore, you just want to leave no stone unturned... To go with the wind, highly relying on resonance. You are not quite sure of the route that resonance is going to make you take, because… Resonance is unfathomable!
