Believing in Actions

I have been doing a lot of reading up on business and have been studying the lives of successful people, and almost everywhere I discovered that people have talked about taking actions, in fact taking massive steps.

I will take this opportunity to kind of circle back on my favourite scripture - the Bhagavad Gita, and in the Gita, the Lord also talks about taking actions, in fact, he goes a little deeper and says that a person must be performing his tasks without expecting the results, and he must not be involved in inaction as well.

That is to say, suppose you have a brilliant idea and now you feel it is the best one that you have heard in some time, and you are in love with that idea. However, all this while please note that nothing worthwhile or fruitful is going to come your way unless you take action.

Just a while back I heard a motivational speaker say that he heard a friend of his struggling hard to get a job, but he was without one for many days. When asked, he revealed that he was just applying to three or four jobs a day! That is something that we’d like to avoid at all costs, right?

I mean if you want a job then you must apply to at least 50 per day and then you might get some results. The trick is to always take massive actions and then you can get to see some results.

I recall one of the experts saying that he used to always operate at 10X levels, and did that mean he got what he always wanted? No, but definitely he was seeing four times the results, and that is what we have to do as well.
